Ann was born in Okinawa, Japan and moved to Hawaii when she was 4 months old.  She started piano lessons at the age of 10 years old and quickly decided to become a piano teacher at the age of 12, as she wanted to share the magic of music and the musical journey with others.

 

Ann joined the orchestra in middle school where she played the violin, and later during high school and college, Ann took music theory classes, while studing piano under various instructors thought out career.  Ann has now taught piano for over 20 years as a private instructor and also taught music fundamentals and piano classes at Keiki Music.
